Ministry of Gender website launched

Minister of Gender Children, Disability and Social Welfare Patricia Kaliati said the launching of website will enable
dissemination of information and to solicit feedback from the society in the fight against gender based violence.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) Friday Kaliati said that her ministry is aware of information gaps on gender related issues especially among women.

She said the website would be used as an instrument to communicating with the society in order to collect information which will help sensitizing the rural masses on the impact of gender based violence from the country
and how the government will improve on the livelihood of the people.
